ABOUT US

The Family Practice Nurses Association of Nova Scotia was founded in 2007 to promote excellence and advocacy in Family Practice Nursing.

 

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) working in Primary Health Care settings, including both Nova Scotia Health and Non-Nova Scotia Health clinics, are invited to join the association. The FPNANS provides a platform to connect with nurses across the province, to participate in educational opportunities, and discuss best practice, evidence based standards of care. We offer both virtual and in-person events throughout the year.

 

Our mission is to advance Family Practice Nursing in Nova Scotia through nursing leadership and collaborative networking.
